HOW TO SET UP:

STEP 1: Test Your Wall Outlet with the Included Outlet Checker

• GROUNDED: If two amber lights illuminate on the Outlet Checker, your wall outlet is grounded, and you're ready to move on to the next step.
• NOT GROUNDED: If the light combination is different, try testing other outlets in your home. If none are grounded, you will need to purchase a Ground Rod to properly use your grounding blanket.

STEP 2: Plug in the Safety Adapter

• Insert the included Safety Adapter into your grounded wall outlet or into the surge protector that is plugged into a grounded outlet.

STEP 3: Connect the Coil Cord

• Firmly plug one end of the Coil Cord into the Safety Adapter.
• Attach the other end of the Coil Cord to the connector tab on the grounding blanket (the “Throw”).

STEP 4: Ground Yourself

• Touch the silver threads on the grounded side of the Throw with your bare skin. Once you do, you are grounded and can begin enjoying the potential benefits of earthing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Machine Wash: Wash the Earthing Throw with warm water (approximately 105°F / 40°C) at least twice per month if using regularly. Washing in warm water helps strip sweat and natural skin oils from the silver threads, ensuring it remains conductive.
• Drying: Dry the blanket in a dryer on low heat, or, for optimal care, line dry the blanket.

Do Not:

• Avoid Bleach and Fabric Softener: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners during washing.
• No Whitening or Oxi-Detergents: Avoid detergents with whitening agents, oxi-detergents, or those containing oils like lavender or coconut oil, as they can damage the fabric.
• Avoid Dryer Sheets: Do not use dryer sheet fabric softeners.
• No Lotions or Oils: Refrain from applying lotion, creams, or body oils to your skin before touching the Earthing Throw, as these products can oxidize and degrade the conductivity of the silver threads over time.
